Jen is a 2010 MFA graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies (CCS) and a Marketing Manager at Fantagraphics Books. Her works include the Mermaid Hostel webcomic and contributions to the Adventure Time and Princeless comics series. She is also one of the editors of Lies Grown-Ups Told Me​, which won the 2012 Stumptown Award for Best Anthology. You can buy some of her work at her storefront or follow her on Tumblr.

​Most people know Jen for her work at the Charles M. Schulz Library or for starring in Cartoon College, a documentary about CCS. She is also a lethal board-game player, geocacher, and dancer.

As a kid, Jen read the Enchanted Forest series, the Xanth books, and any comic she could get her hands on. She grew up in Texas, but she currently lives in Seattle.

In Cartozia, she would love to hang out on the Library Stairs, waiting for them to change location. She'd wait forever to figure out that algorithm.​
