Lupi has an overactive imagination. She writes and draws Lolly Poppet and lots of other stories. Her work is influenced by history, myth, and folklore. A few of her favorite ​books and comics for kids are the Moomin​ series, The Once and Future King​, and Calvin and Hobbes​ 

Her favorite places in Cartozia would probably be Meadhall X and the Accordian Academy.​

She lives in MInneapolis, Minnesota.​
