Draw Two Panels isn’t a Cartozia book — it’s a project our editor, Isaac Cates, conducted a couple of years ago — but he’s listing it here in the hope that it will raise a few bucks for Cartozia Tales.

Each four-panel strip in Draw Two Panels was made by dealing two panels at random from a deck, then adding two new panels to make a four-panel strip that makes sense. Then the new panels were added into the deck, so it could keep chewing on some of the same ideas.

The result is a window into Isaac’s barely-conscious decisions about what makes sense, what big questions are worth asking, and where meaning comes from. It’s often silly, sometimes poetic, and impeccably inky. We hope you will enjoy it.
